DR. MAX CINBERG
Dr. Max Cinberg is a clinical psychologist dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University and has extensive experience providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and diagnostic evaluations across a variety of clinical settings. Dr. Cinberg employs an integrative approach to treatment, tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs while drawing from evidence-based interventions to foster insight, resilience, and lasting change. He has experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and life transitions, with particular expertise in working with individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurodevelopmental differences.
Before becoming a psychologist, Dr. Cinberg spent several years as a special education teacher in New York City, an experience that continues to shape his appreciation for neurodiversity, learning differences, and each individual's unique strengths. In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to research in psychological trauma, neuropsychological functioning, and behavioral health, reinforcing his commitment to integrating the latest scientific evidence into his practice. Dr. Cinberg strives to create a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to overcome challenges, build meaningful coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.
